Media LAB
The Manchester School of Art introduces a new and unique MA media programme - the Media LAB, with pathways in Photography, Filmmaking, Media Arts and Film & Media Studies. You will work on individual projects in your chosen field, while experimenting with a broader spectrum of screen media methodologies in interdisciplinary groups and in close collaboration with an extensive, regional network of cultural and media organisations.
Programme
This course is a 48 week full-time / 96 week part-time postgraduate course. Students meet for one full day per week whilst also working independently on projects and research groups. Representative Timetable
Lab for ideas
The Media LAB provides an open and flexible approach to practice, in which artists, students and researchers can meet, initiate and share activities.
Live Projects
Students develop professional link research and creative projects with the region's key arts and media organisations.
